Among SEOs, there are only “smarter” clients who already know what to do about SEO. I come from a background in web development where the developers have no idea what SEO is and why it’s important. There’s a whole world out there that’s just like these people. We can still market to them and grow smarter.
Are people avoiding big brands for any particular reason? Is it disloyalty to the dominant brand? Or are they convinced that “anything is better” than the leader? How do brands reconcile with these differences?
Google is making a move into radio, but they should probably step back and use whatever resources available to market on electronic media, such as podcasts.
